First team game & working bee Saturday

Melville resume their northern premier league pre-season with a home game against Northern Rovers at 11am on Saturday (Feb 21).

The game will be preceded by a club working bee from 8am onwards. (Changing rooms sort-out is an absolute priority ahead of upgrade work). If you are in any doubt about the working bee, just turn up.

Northern Rovers are a new amalgamation of Glenfield Rovers and Forrest Hill Milford.
However the amalgamation has led to them being unable to muster the numbers bring a reserve team south, so alternate arrangements will need to be made for Melville Reserves this weekend.

Melville began their pre-season last week with a 1-0 home win over an under-strength Western Springs.

A number of injuries means there are still loads of openings for newcomers and youngsters to prove their worth in the Melville pre-season squad.
