Melville United will elect a new president/chairman at the club’s AGM, which has been set for Saturday November 14, 2pm at Gower Park.
The meeting will be preceded by the annual Melville East v Melville West match (contact Phil Wheatley to play).
Current president Wytse Bouma has announced he is stepping down after three years at the helm, though still expects to play some role.
“I am keen to stay on the committee and contribute to the club’s success going forward,” Bouma said. “With the addition of some good people I also feel that this is the strongest committee we have had at Melville for a number of years which is a real positive.”
Nominations for the management committee (and patron) can be lodged with the secretary (email@example.com)
The meeting will also adopt a new strategic plan for the club, endorse a memorandum of understanding with junior club Northern United, and hear of appointments for 2021.
All club members are invited and encouraged to attend.
